SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR SHOES
1/ Keep your family safe by following our tips for keeping shoes out of the reach of children.
2/Always tie all hooks on the shoe if the model has some and tie a tight loop.
3/Stow the lace loops and lace ends in the upper if they are too long, stick out or are not covered by your trousers.
4/Please note that soles change their grip in damp and cold conditions, that increases
the risk of slipping, especially on smooth surfaces such as polished stones, roots, branches, tiles, tarmac or metal grids.
5/Snow, ice and winter conditions also change and reduce the grip of the soles.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR LEATHER BAG ?
1/ Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, humidity, and
excessive heat.
2/ Keep away from abrasive surfaces to prevent scratches and damage.
3/ Clean the bag regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
4/ For light stains, use a cloth slightly dampened with water
and dry immediately.
5/ Do not use harsh detergents or solvents.
6/ Store the bag in a dry, ventilated place, preferably inside the provided protective dust bag.
7/ Fill the interior with tissue paper or unprinted fabric to
maintain its shape.
8/ Avoid contact with liquids such as water, oil, alcohol, or
cosmetics, as they may cause stains.
9/ Be cautious of sharp objects that could damage the leather.
10/ For significant damage or wear, contact an authorised
service center for maintenance or repairs.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR LEATHER SHOE?
1. Cleaning: First remove dirt and dust from the shoes with a suitable brush. A damp cloth can be used for heavier soiling.
2. Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry if they have become damp. Direct heat sources such as heaters should be avoided.
3. Care: Apply shoe polish or wax to the leather and polish the surface with a soft brush or cloth.
4. Protection: Spray on a waterproofing spray to protect the shoes from moisture and dirt.
5. Shape retention: Use shoe trees to maintain the shape of the shoes and prevent creasing.
Smooth leather:
Clean the shoes regularly with a soft brush to remove dirt and dust. Use shoe polish in the appropriate colour to nourish the leather and conceal small scratches.
Apply wax occasionally to give the leather extra protection and a nice shine.
Suede:
Use a special brush for suede to remove dirt and refresh the material. Apply a waterproofing spray to protect the leather from moisture and stains. Avoid using shoe polish or wax, as these products can change the structure of
suede.
Patent leather:
Clean patent leather with a soft brush or damp cloth.
Treat the leather with shoe polish and apply wax regularly to maintain the characteristic shine. Use a waterproofing spray to protect the leather from water and dirt.
